Tajette O'Halloran I Photographic Storytelling
Join artist and photographer Tajette O’Halloran for an immersive two-day workshop focused on developing personal, narrative-driven photographic work. Drawing on her own practice, Tajette will guide students through ways of recognising and shaping meaningful stories, with an emphasis on intuition, observation, and sustained engagement with subject and place.
Over the weekend, students will be supported to refine and expand an existing body of work, or begin shaping the early stages of a new one. Through group discussions, image reviews, and practical exercises, the workshop will explore approaches to editing and sequencing, helping you understand how images accumulate meaning when considered together.
A key part of the workshop is conversation. Students will share their work, speak about their ideas, and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback in a supportive environment. The focus is on building confidence in both making and articulating your work, while refining a clearer sense of direction.
This workshop is suited to photographers at all levels who are interested in moving beyond single images and towards more considered, cohesive bodies of work.
