In this two-day workshop students will have the opportunity to take the time to slow down and investigate the incredible diversity of forms, patterns and textures in the natural world. Students will be introduced to a selection of useful drawing techniques and encouraged to experiment with a range of graphite pencils, combined with erasing and embossing to create various outcomes.

Students will be supported to draw accurately and gain insight in depicting realism in their work.

Sharon will lead students through a series of fun, ‘freeing-up’ exercises, exploring creative ways to approach the subject matter.

Reference photos may also be used.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students.
